Cannot choose what I want/need

Looking for an AWD vehicule, either sport-ish or off-road style, budget is 40k Canadian. Need something cheap to own, reliable and fun. Ideally 250+HP and not German. (My mechanic hates working on them)

Looked at the following options so far:

Ford Focus RS

Toyota GR Corolla

Lexus IS 300

Kia Stinger

Toyota 4Runner

Help is appreciated I don't have any driving experience other than my 2007 Toyota Camry 2.4L. Thank you!
