One week with the Air update. I’m no longer returning it.
I posted previously about my plans to return the Air due to step count inaccuracy, AI frustrations, and some sleep/vitals issues.
As it turns out, I just needed to be patient while it calibrated to me. My step count is now completely fixed (matches almost identical to my Garmin step count). The AI is less obnoxious, I’m guessing that was part of the app update yesterday. It’s actually very useful for food logging when I tell it what I’m eating and gets a little less insane in the process.
The sleep tracking is phenomenal. I tested it every night against my Apple Watch and Garmin, noting when I woke up to use the bathroom, etc. The first night was not great, but every night since has been perfect. I also had an issue with my spo2 range not showing, but it just needed to calibrate it for a week and now it’s good to go.
TLDR: I just needed to be patient during the calibration period. It’s fantastic (for me).
