How big do you have to be to play D1 football?

I was recently surfing in military forums, and someone asked if they could play D1 football at the Naval Academy. They played linebacker in high school and were 5’10” and 200 pounds. Everyone replied by saying he is too short and nowhere near good enough for Navy football. That blew my mind when I read that because everyone jokes about how Notre Dame easily beats the service academies every year, yet it’s extremely hard to make the football teams at the service academies still. How big do you have to be for most D1 football teams?
