flood of "ad approved" emails and my oldest ads all restarted... what is this?

woke up to a flood of "your ad was approved" emails for ads that have been running since feb/march. checked the ad library and a bunch of my longest-running ads now show as freshly launched (new library IDs, "started jun 2") even though in ads manager it's the same ad with all its lifetime results still there.

they all got dumped back into learning, and on most of them likes and comments are just gone, ads that had a few thousand comments and likes sitting at zero now. it's only hitting stuff that's been running ~6+ weeks, anything newer is untouched. i didn't change a thing, no auto rules, no edits. Support is useless.

Meta is rolling out AI garbage?

anyone else seeing this the last day or two? and if you went through it, did the likes/comments come back once it settled, or are they gone for good?
