Solar powered pylon sign?

There's a government building looking for a pylon sign out front of a courthouse, but they don't want to run power out to the sign for the LEDs so they were asking about solar power. I asked my boss and he's useless - just wondering if anyone had worked with such a thing to power a lit sign before.
