I understand that we have all been beginners making a weird wonky scarf or whatever. I understand that we have all seen a minor mistake and gone “eh it’s fine” and moved on.

But mistakes do not “add soul.” They just add mistakes. Fix it - or don’t! - but cutsey little attitude of letting things slide because they “add soul” makes your final protect look wonky and degrades the craft.
