Question I’m a noob at path of titans. But how in the hell are baby Dinos meant to escape from an attack.

I was playing as a baby suchomimus and was pretty much chased across map by a sarcosuchus. I get I was in a high pvp area. Grand plains but it chased me all the way to the impact zone, through water and on land. How are we supposed to even escape such a thing? It felt like nothing I could do except die.
