Confused about Morocco eVisa and passport name difference (MRZ vs alteration page) – will this cause issues?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand if I will run into problems with my travel documents and would really appreciate any advice.

My passport has an official name change recorded on the alterations page. Because of this, there are effectively two versions of my name in the passport:

• The original name in the biographical data page and MRZ
• The updated/corrected name on the alterations page

My situation:

• My Morocco eVisa was issued using the MRZ name (original name)
• My flight booking is under the updated name (alterations page name)

I am worried about whether this mismatch will cause issues when travelling, especially:

• At airline check-in
• When entering Morocco

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation where:

• A passport has an official name amendment on the alterations page
• The eVisa is linked to the MRZ name instead of the updated name

Will Morocco immigration accept this without issues if both the passport and alteration page are presented?

Any advice or real experiences would be really helpful.
