LOA

So I’m asking reddit because I talked to onsite HR and they’re completely unhelpful, and I couldn’t be asked to call ERC for just a simple question. My baby boy (puppy) is getting snipped, and I wanted to be able to take a couple days off in the beginning to be there for him and help him out with everything since it’s first ever surgery. I was curious if they would approve a LOA for a couple days for my doggos surgery. As well as if they would, would it need to be a personal LOA or a medical one?.. I can obviously try to figure it out some other way or something.. but yk better to ask than not.
