That one friend of mine who refuses to touch grass

There’s a friend of mine I’ve known for around 4-5 years, and I consider him as a pretty close friend. Dude’s a huge anime fan (so as I), but he rarely ever hangs out. So dear redditors, I need some advice on this situation, should I just move on, or is there any way to convince him to hang out more often?

Travelling? ‘’I gotta save money for the brand new RTX-5090 bro’’.

Local theme parks? ‘’No interest’’.

Anime conventions / Comic-Cons? ‘’Boring’’.

Hanging out at the Arcades? ‘’No interest’’

Hanging out doing sports? ‘’Nah I’m too tired bro’’

Also every single time I hang out with him in a friend group eating in a diner all he talks about is anime stuff, when I or the others talk about any other stuff he goes completely silent.

As a long time friend of his, I genuinely wanna do some fun shit with him outside. Should I just move on from him? Or is there any advices for me to convince him to hang out?
