How I got my first scar

It was summer vacations and on a beautiful Sunday evening I was playing with my society friends in the colony (we used to live in flats at that time) me and my friends (prob 5 were of my age and 3-4 were kinda older) were playing some tag game (I forgot its name but it was teamed mode of like touch a player then he is freezed and then other touches to unfreeze or some similar mechanics). I was 7 or 8 year old at that time.

I was running from a tagger with my friend and then another tagger came from front so I dodged him to the right and sprinted and hit my forehead straight to a sharp side of pillar/wall edge (a cuboidal building's pillar's edge). Red blood was oozing outta my forehead kinda above my right eyebrow and I was still running and enjoying then they all stopped and looked at me and I didn't even knew what happened ("Does he know" moment irl). It wasn't even paining at that time then I looked down and saw red blood droplets and I knew something fked up.

I didn't knew what to do and panicked (I think I cried cause they looked serious and I began thinking I am surely gonna die), they took me to my flat and my parents were there and they also panicked seeing my blood face. Dad cleaned the wound with water and I could see the blood rushing to the sink in even faster rate 😭 he put dettol on wound and gave me handkerchief to stop further bleeding and took me to hospital (it was close to our house thankfully) and got into the emergency compartment for the first time of my life (they drove me on a wheelchair inside the hospital).

A doctor gave me with 3-4 injections (tetanus, anesthesia (at the wound), antibiotic) with some germ killer liquid on the wound. I got the stitches and I didn't even feel any pain at that day, the doctor released me in an hour and half. The night went on smoothly as I had taken pain killer (it just itched at night at that area because of the white bandage like thing which doctor put on wound and taped).

I thought it was over, but for nearly two months I had to visit a clinic weekly to get the wound checked and cleaned. The doctor pulled off those tape which hurt the skin like crazy and examined and tapped new one, but it finally healed after about two months. and I was left with a scar on my forehead which I was told would get to normal skin in 4-5 years but its been 9 years and I still have that scar (though its size has decreased a little)

TLDR: I ran, I hit, I scarred.
