Long-distance girlfriend (F25) trying to pull off a ridiculous birthday surprise, help a girl out? 🥹

Hi everyone!

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm hoping you'll help a girl out. 😅

My boyfriend is turning 28 soon, and because we're long-distance, I can't exactly surprise him with a party, take him out for dinner, or do any of the usual birthday things I'd love to do.

So I've come up with a slightly ridiculous idea.

I want to surprise him with a compilation of birthday messages from complete strangers pretending they've known him for years.

The funnier part is that he has absolutely no idea I'm doing this.

A little about him:

• His name is Josh (he also goes by Kiran)
• He's turning 28
• Works as a Senior Content Specialist
• Loves cooking and food
• Goes to the gym regularly
• Is obsessed with sci-fi
• Grew up loving Avatar: The Last Airbender
• Loves the John Wick movies
• Somehow knows a random animal fact for every occasion
• Has a conspiracy theory for almost everything
• Has a very small social circle, which is exactly why I think this will be so funny

If you'd like to participate, I'd love a short video (5–15 seconds) wishing him a happy birthday.

You can keep it completely normal, or you can pretend you've known him forever.

Feel free to invent stories, memories, inside jokes, adventures, or mysterious incidents that never actually happened.

English is his first language, so English videos are perfect. He understands a bit of Tamil as well if you'd like to throw in a phrase or two.

Honestly, I think the best part will be watching him try to figure out who everyone is and whether he's somehow forgotten an entire chapter of his life.

If you'd like to help make a long-distance girlfriend's silly birthday plan come true, you can upload your video here:

Thank you so much for reading. Whether you've been in a long-distance relationship before or are currently in one, you probably know how much the little things mean when you can't be there in person. ❤️
