What’s Your Favorite Weekend Getaway Destination for Couples in India?

For a couples getaway weekend, I'd probably pick Udaipur. It has the right balance of beautiful scenery, good food, history, and a relaxed vibe.

You can spend the day exploring the old city, take a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, or simply enjoy a slow evening by the lake. It feels romantic without being overly crowded or hectic.

That said, there are plenty of other great options depending on what you enjoy. Munnar and Coorg are perfect if you want greenery and quiet surroundings. Shimla offers pleasant weather and mountain views, while Goa works well if you're looking for beaches and laid-back cafés.

For me, the best couples trips are the ones where you don't feel the need to follow a packed itinerary. A beautiful location, good food, and time to relax together usually make for the most memorable weekends.
