Is this a good deal?

My friend is willing to sell me his PC and monitor setup. He is asking $800 and I really only use my gaming pc for Minecraft, but I’d like to be able to go back to games like dayz and play some other titles here and there. I know the pc has been very lightly used since he really only played it for a year. I honestly don’t know much about pcs themselves so I just want to make sure it’s a smart decision to buy this machine.

Would I be able to play Minecraft on max settings without any issues?
How old/how long do you think it will last before I need to upgrade?
Is the price good?

Don’t know the second but it’s also a “gaming monitor”
