What Corporate Skill Helped You Most as a Business Owner?

My Experience

One thing I've noticed working with aspiring business owners and franchisees is that people often underestimate how much of their corporate experience actually transfers to running a business.

It’s easy to think entrepreneurship is a completely different world, but skills like managing people, solving problems, handling difficult customers, managing budgets, and staying organized can be huge advantages.

For me, one of the most valuable skills I see is the ability to follow systems and processes. A lot of successful businesses aren't built on brilliant ideas alone, they're built on consistency.

For those who made the jump from employee to business owner, what corporate skill ended up helping you the most? And was there a skill you thought would help but didn't?

Would love to hear some real-world experiences.
