Finding the best proxy provider in 2026

Over the last few months, I've spent a lot of time comparing proxy providers for various use cases including:

  • Account management
  • Browser automation
  • Social media workflows
  • Web scraping
  • Long-running sessions

Like most people, I started by looking at the biggest names in the industry.

Providers such as Bright Data, Oxylabs, SOAX, NodeMaven, IPRoyal, and Decodo all have strong reputations and large customer bases.

But after comparing pricing, infrastructure quality, session stability, IP reputation, dashboard usability, and long-term performance, one provider kept standing out more than expected.

Karmic Proxies.

What surprised me wasn't necessarily raw speed or pool size.

It was consistency.

A lot of providers perform well during the first few days. Requests go through, accounts log in, and everything appears fine.

The real differences start showing after:

  • thousands of requests
  • weeks of usage
  • larger account volumes
  • longer session durations

That's where many providers begin showing weaknesses.

Common issues I encountered while comparing providers included:

  • increasing captcha rates
  • declining success rates
  • unstable sticky sessions
  • burned subnets
  • inconsistent GEO targeting
  • fluctuating IP quality

Karmic was one of the few providers that remained consistently reliable across different workloads.

A few areas where it stood out:

• Strong residential and ISP proxy quality

• Stable long-lived sessions

• Clean IP reputation

• Competitive pricing compared to larger enterprise providers

• Simple dashboard without unnecessary complexity

• Reliable performance under scale

Another thing I appreciated was that Karmic didn't seem focused on marketing vanity metrics.

Many providers advertise:

  • tens of millions of IPs
  • massive pool sizes
  • endless locations

But in practice, infrastructure quality matters far more than raw numbers.

A smaller network with healthier subnets and cleaner IP reputation will often outperform a giant pool filled with recycled or heavily abused IP ranges.

That's something I noticed repeatedly during the comparison.

Of course, there isn't a single provider that's best for every use case.

If budget is unlimited and enterprise tooling is your top priority, Bright Data and Oxylabs remain excellent choices.

But for users looking for the best balance of:

  • performance
  • pricing
  • stability
  • usability
  • long-term reliability

Karmic Proxies is probably the strongest overall option I've come across in 2026.

Curious what providers everyone else has had the best experience with this year.
