Low energy and power
I have been in an energy rut. I went through a horrible breakup and I’m in the process of trying to magick my way through that. I did one spell that worked for a month then fell flat.
For others in my place here’s what I do to get energy back.
-
Clean your space. I practice in my room. Wherever you practice reflects your mind.
-
Music! I listen to music and sing when I cast spells. It influences mood and awakes my performer energy lol
-
Drink specifically tea instead of coffee. Coffee is nice for spiritual work. I’ve always used it in sweeteners or love spells. But tea heals and restores.
-
Write your doubts down in toilet paper and wipe. It’s waste. If that freaks you out journal and burn it.
5.meditation yoga or working out. Showers don’t work if I’m in a bad panicked mood. I have body dysmorphia and it scares me. This is my alternatives to that self care, flushing out of my system energy.
-
The sun. My goodness do I love the sun. I prefer casting spells during the day. At night works too but the sun reminds me it’ll be alright.
-
Watch witchcraft movies. Witchcraft doesn’t work that way i know but there’s something reassuring about hearing other people, even if they’re acting, talk about magic blatantly. They see results nearly every time so will you.
-
Talk to the children in your life. Most people have them. I talk to my nieces all the time. Children are truly more powerful than people give them credit for. The most recently have been to that realm beyond our reach. Their imagination is magic of its own. Not to mention if a kid love you they’ll make you feel happy if they can tell you’re sad
-
If you believe other higher powers exist besides your team talk to them. Some will require an offering. Others love and talk to you no matter what. I connect to Jesus Christ from time to time despite not being Christian. He’s a warm cheerful presence who wants the best for you.
-
Take medicine to make sure it’s not a sickness or allergies of any kind.
-
Please all your senses including the spiritual ones. If you’re in a rut wearing uncomfortable clothes, not brushing your teeth so you taste your mouth, not washing your sheets so they smell like sweat, listening to only sad songs, will only make things worse. It will make you more depressed than ever
-
Eat. Drink water. Take your multivitamins. When you’re dehydrated or malnourished your mental state is the first to go. Your body prioritizes keeping you alive. All leftover sustenance goes to keeping you pumping. Mundane over magick.
