I find it ironic how both Sasuke (Naruto)and Zuko from (Avatar) both weren’t originally part of their stories respectively.

If you go back and look at the behind the scenes of both series, you would realize that Sasuke wasn’t originally part Kishimoto‘s idea for Naruto. It was only later his editor advised him that Naruto needed a rival and he listened to him. How did he know? The story of Naruto would’ve been very different. Same sort of logic applies to Zuko but for him an executive at Nickelodeon told Mike and Brian that they needed someone who wasn’t the fire constantly after Aang each episode. Originally the fire order was supposed to be the only villain in the series., however, the writers could only do so much with his character sitting on a throne so they created somebody who would go after them each episode that person would be Zuko. And consider considering how big of a character or key would have in the series it’s almost crazy how the destroyed almost did include him. So I just find that ironic that both Sasuke and Zuko weren’t originally supposed to exist.
