Suggestions for culturally dense holiday spots in Europe

Thinking of a family holiday in Europe. I don’t like just going to the beach, I prefer a culturally dense city where there are dozens of monuments and buildings to explore. Been already to Barcelona and Paris, and did all of Italy too (used to live there). What could we visit next?
