german roaches

hi everyone. first time renting/posting so sorry if this is a silly question

i moved into my granny flat about 4-5 months ago, everything has been perfectly fine as far as inspections and getting a broken fence fixed immediately, but im now facing a huge issue

recently my wifi stopped working, which prompted me to check the nbn box behind my fridge. to my dismay i found a ton of cockroach droppings and a small swarm of (what i think is) german cockroaches once i took the cover off. i believe this nest has completely destroyed the nbn box as its no longer working

i keep my house clean, no food left out, etc etc, so i find it hard to believe that i have brought the infestation from my parents house (side note: never had a problem with germans there). i did notice some large cockroaches outside when i moved in but wasnt too concerned about them (maybe i should’ve been!!)

2 questions. 1: is it my responsibility to get a pest spray and pay for it ?

2: if the nbn box HAS been destroyed by the roaches, will i be responsible for organising a replacement/repair ??
