Issues with “Match tv Powerstate” setting

Very recently I’ve noticed that this setting stopped working. I have it turned on in my console settings, and on my tv. It used to work without issue but now turning on my switch two will turn the tv on, change to the correct input, but then the tv will display a “no input found” message. All I have to do to resolve this is take the switch 2 out of the dock and place it back in and it fixes the issue but what could possibly be causing this??
