Suggestion of how to approach Familiars

Hello Everyone,

I need the help of the big guns here to point me to the right direction about familiars.

I have 42 Mana altar at the moment. My core spirits are a12 e5 (including Sala)

Seed achieved BT5 also.Relic are all 100. (duh)

Orr A11. Skill prof 37. All yellow beasts are unlocked.

Is it better to try your luck every time you get a chance to upgrade familiars or go for %100 till 7 then try your chance with %25 to upgrade to 8.

The 7*s i have are:Na,Rion,Mus,Hi,A,Je,Ti,Ku,Sha,Po

I really can use any help and suggestions you can provide. Current stage is 1170 and promo Cyclos.
