I got rank 86th in SRMJEEE PG Phase II 2026, but wasn't selected

I got my program allocation information today and was informed "based on the performance and the SCRUTINY by the department, you have not been allocated in phase II of SRMJEEE PG 2026." Now I'm devastated thinking what the criteria exactly is. I contacted their help desk and all I got to know was there isn't any criteria for the selection and it all depends on "your rank and the department". I applied for the main campus for Mtech in Biotechnology knowing that there were only 30 seats available. Was my rank not enough? I really need help to understand what to do with phase III now.
