Does Anyone Else Struggle More With the CTA Than the Email Itself?

One thing I've noticed with email outreach is that writing the email is often easier than deciding how to end it.

Too direct, and it feels like you're asking for too much from a cold prospect. Too soft, and people read it but don't know how to respond.

I've tested things like:

  • "Open to a quick call?"
  • "Worth exploring?"
  • "Can I send over a few ideas?"
  • "Thoughts?"

Honestly, I'm still not sure whether the CTA has a huge impact or if targeting and relevance do most of the work.

What CTAs have consistently worked for you?
