Why do I like ppl who are mean to me?

Yk when ppl are nice to me I'm always skeptical about them because I always think they're being fake. But when someone's mean to me, I totally ignore their mean behaviour and instantly view them as honest, and if that mean person acts nice with me, THE SENSE oF VICTORY I GET should be studied.

Ps: I'm also mean when I first meet someone but then I reveal my clingy as fuck side.
