Form filling

So there is some tension in my family father mother lives separately . I really dont get any benefits from my father so should i fill not applicable in his columns because if they ask to verify why my father does not earn i cant simply say we live separately as there is no official divorce....so what to fill in it pls tell.

They may ask for proof since they provide financial help and i dont want any help but just does not want my form to be rejected over trivial issue

TLDR- father lives separatly should i fill his column or fill not applicable?
