Valve stems for drifting

My friend who does drag racing said his track requires metal valve stems for his car, I don’t believe my track I’ll be going to ( first time ) requires anything like this but it made me think
What’s the optimal valve stems type for a 17’ stock z wheel should I get metal or rubber? Will metal be better overall I don’t plan on drifting with anyone for awhile as I’m brand new or does it not matter and I’m over thinking it
