I'm alright if people downvote because they may not like what I have to say.

Rye being prejudiced will never fail to amaze me. he may sound smart but he's playing into divisive politics and right wing ideology. He does it over stories instead of a post because he knows the reaction he'll get. But maybe someone can enlighten me.

Addressing the first image, several things are off putting.

Elon Musk was directly a Trump supporter and remains one of the wealthiest billionaires who made a fortune on the backs of exploiting people. If Rye who is supposed caring of the environment, Elon scams people out of money with crypto and overpriced Teslas and has enough money to feed the whole country. appreciate this post of what Elon problematically done, yet people still buy the blue checkmark and pretend to be oblivious:

Rye still follows Elon, has a blue check, and retweets/likes which is direct support.

For the post itself, racism against white people IS horrendous. Framing it as the biggest and abhorrent issue among the police force and comparing George Floyd to Nowak is not the same thing.

George Floyd was racially profiled and it was an act of racism and everyday occurrence for black people in the US and probably in the UK. As for Nowak, white people do face police brutality (but they aren't racially profiled), and it remains invisible in some cases to sustain white supremacy to think the white populace are unified. The reason media may be so-called "silent" is not to protect black people or be political, because obviously they report what crimes black people have done and everyday violence. The Nowak story does have considerable coverage in the media and obviously no one is quiet because according to the Wikipedia page there was intervention and ways to mediate future incidences. Nowak's death IS UNJUST, and rightfully his case SHOULD be in the news and view how the police force is negligent and uses excessive force. And the accusation of racism is clearly wrong and the police who IGNORED Nowak and treats anyone inhumanely regardless of their alleged actions is an issue as he is a trained officer that works with the public.

When Elon leads into the next tweet, that's what makes me lose it. The West has NOT created a state where the accusation of racism is the worst offense, nor is it WORSE than r@pe or murder. Those things can not even be comparable, but I shouldn't be surprised given Elon holds deep rooted misogyny and strives for eugenics, because we know which groups disproportionately face violence in these cases.

Lets not ignore the fact police brutality and mass incarceration of black and brown people has been going on for decades and has NOT stopped. Racism on both ends is horrible, and it's ALSO true that black people are stopped by the police and checked and experience excessive force. Oftentimes they distrust the police and don't see them as protectors.

Elon is not a good guy, and the way he frames the case is effective of revealing who is eager to shun an entire group and push for anti-immigration and religious persecution. No group is a monolith and I really hope people understand this. Elon explicitly says "British boy" and follows by "an immigrant" which really shows who he cares about.

The assumption in this case that an immigrant boy has priority over a British white boy if he claims racism, when we know that isn't true for every instance. This is one of the cases which Elon has overgeneralized to assume it will happen in all. From my perspective of either POC or immigrants, we don't call out racist people because it's everyday normal for us or we fear of retaliation.

I seriously wish we stop treating police brutality against white or black people as groundbreaking news. It's been a forever issue, just more outrage who's at the end of it. it's also not ok for false racist accusations, and it's a myth that it's a commonly used excuse.

My heart goes out to the Nowak family, and if anyone wants to know, the jury convicted Digwa of murder on May 28, 2026.

What is up with rye being alt right? Has he always been like this?
