Recent Iceland Cruisers - how to get between downtown and new cruise port?

New cruise port in Reykjavik just opened this past month - has anyone cruised from the new port? There used to be a free shuttle bus from the port to downtown but I'm told its no longer operational? How are people getting from the new cruise port to/from downtown Reykjavik? Thanks for any intel, cruising next month.
