2025 CX50 Fuel door

When I lock or unlock the car the fuel door makes a popping sound, I know its supposed to lock with the car, which it does, however the sound mine makes is an audible popping sound, not the typical door locking sound you would expect.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It seems oddly loud for a fuel door lock, I can even hear it over the normal door locking sound.
