Curbside pickup

Does anybodys curbside let a customer change their parking space? Every time we go out the customer says "It wouldn't let me change to space 2."

It hasn't worked since we started curbside. Do we bother putting a ticket in or do we not care?

And while I'm at it, why do the customers get a barcode we can't scan?
