Is there some sort of guide to shield interactions?

Hey new player here trying to learn the mechanics. I've noticed that shields stop somethings and just let others through? Is there some sort of quick reference guide or logic to this? Like what does defense matrix stop and not stop? Does sigma shield protect from an Orrisa or Hanso ult? Does a Zarya bubble protect me from road hog hook or bastion ult? It's all very confusing right now.
