Contract Expired

It amazes me how slowly and un-agile Virgin are.

A few months back Sky announced their package changes would includes the likes of HBO Disney and Netflix...

Here I am with discounts til November, but out of contract.
I contacted them via phone....

Best offer from retentions was £74 for 1gb, mega tv and phone
Best offer on account was £46 - I am paying currently £48.....

We subscriber to Netflix & Disney....

So off to sky we went...

Ultimate package & 900mb for £42.... accepted.

Email from virgin check your account for an exclusive offer - we dont want to see you leave....

The same £46 that was offered before....
I've used the auto switching service as opposed to giving them 30 days notice.
When ive given notice before i normally get a call from the secret team that gives you good offers.... something tells me this wont happen now.

Anyone else had similar experiences recently and abandoned ship to Sky?
