Can a Brand's Entire Online Reputation Be Measured in One Score? Looking for Feedback
I spent 3 months building a tool that scores your brand's entire online reputation in one number here's what I learned and what I'm probably getting wrong
Background: I run a small marketing agency (we handle local service businesses roofing, HVAC, fitness studios). Every month I was juggling 5–6 different tools to track the same thing: how is this brand perceived online?
Semrush for SEO. Brand24 for mentions. BrightLocal for local. Google Alerts for news. Nothing for reviews. And absolutely nothing for what AI chatbots say about the brand which is increasingly where people are forming first impressions.
So I built BrandScope AI. It audits a brand across 10 dimensions and outputs a single reputation score (0–1000) with a breakdown:
- SEO brand visibility (SERP presence, backlinks, branded keywords)
- AI Search / AEO (does ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity actually cite you? What do they say?)
- Review intelligence (aggregate ratings, response rate, NLP sentiment across platforms)
- Social reputation (mention volume, net sentiment, viral risk)
- Local SEO (NAP consistency, GBP health, local pack rankings)
- PR & news coverage
- Web asset health (Core Web Vitals, E-E-A-T, schema)
- Trust signals (Knowledge Graph, Wikipedia, entity strength)
- Competitor benchmarking
- AI-generated action report
The AEO module is the one I'm most excited about it actually queries multiple LLMs, checks if they mention the brand, what sentiment they use, and flags hallucinations (when AI says something factually wrong about the brand). I haven't seen any other ORM tool do this.
What I want feedback on:
-
Is a unified reputation score actually useful, or do marketers prefer seeing raw data per channel?
-
The AEO/hallucination detection is this a real pain point for you or a gimmick?
-
Pricing: thinking $79/mo Starter, $149/mo Pro, $299/mo Agency (white-label reports). Too high? Too low?
-
Who is the actual buyer here brand owners, marketing managers, or agencies?
-
What feature would make you immediately pay for this vs. keep using your current stack?
Be as brutal as you want I'd rather hear what's broken now than after I've spent 6 months marketing the wrong thing.
