How many of ya’ll were leash kids?

I had a big bird leash that I had to wear in large crowds.

I went out with a friend that has a hyperactive child recently and it was constant battle to keep them close, even with four adults present. It made me empathize with how challenging it must have been for my parents. A leash might not have been the best solution, but they were just doing their best trying to keep me safe.
