I built a SaaS to help people stop procrastinating
Most people don't procrastinate because they're lazy.
They procrastinate because a task feels too big, too complicated, or difficult to start.
That observation led me to build AuraPom.
The idea is simple:
Break work into smaller tasks, track focused work sessions, and make progress visible.
AuraPom combines:
• Task management
• Focus timers
• Time tracking
• Progress tracking
• Freelancer work reports
After launching, a few things stood out to me:
- Building the product was easier than getting people to discover it.
- Features I thought were important weren't always the ones users cared about.
- Even a single piece of user feedback can completely change what you work on next.
- The productivity space is crowded, which means you need a very clear reason for users to choose your product.
There are already many great productivity tools available. AuraPom is simply my own approach to helping people stay focused and get work done.
I'm still early in the journey, but shipping the product and seeing people use it has been rewarding.
I'd love to hear from other micro SaaS founders:
