Job I’m a top contender for just reposted the role ???

So frustrated. I’ve been jumping through hoops the last 2 months with this company. 5 interviews, extensive writing test, live strategy session. Last week the recruiter asked for my references after I did the “final round”. My references haven’t been called yet. The vibes have been there since day 1 when the hiring manager told me on the spot she liked me and was moving me through- I was feeling really good about all of this company.

Today, I noticed this company reposted the job on their careers page and LinkedIn. Still waiting on an update on my end - I was told I’ll know “this week about next steps”. Trying to keep the faith, but I really don’t like the fact they’ve reposted the role. Wtf. I feel like they are keeping me on ice while they try to find someone else.
