What do you check before using a new finance app?

I’m trying to build a simple checklist for comparing finance apps before spending time on one

Not asking for recommendations. I’m more interested in practical checks like feature access, mobile experience, account settings, fee page clarity, help center quality, and whether the app explains limitations clearly
