How do you create ad creatives without a designer on budget?

Running a small D2C brand and honestly the biggest bottleneck for me is ad creatives.

I can't afford a full-time designer, and freelancers charge ₹5k-15k per creative set. But I need new creatives every week for testing.

What are you guys actually doing? Are you:
— Making them yourself on Canva?
— Hiring cheap freelancers and hoping for the best?
— Using some tool I haven't heard of?

I feel like I'm spending more time worrying about creatives than actually running my business. Would love to know how others are handling this. What's actually working for you?
