Nuvaring affecting my bladder?

Side effects!?

I recently started the nuva ring (a little over a week and a half ago) and I've been using the bathroom way more. I used to go in the morning, occasionally at school (like on average less than once a week), when I get home, and once maybe twice in the evening.

This week I have had to get up in the middle of the night at least once per night, multiple time at school, and multiple times after school in addition to my previous bathroom use. Sometimes twice in the morning.

I have not changed my fluid intake. It's like I'm peeing out more then I'm even drinking (35-45 oz depending on what I drink with dinner. I am well aware that I should drink more).

The fact that I'm going to the bathroom isn't too annoying, but I used to be able to skip the morning bathroom and wait till 3:30 pm. I had a really good bladder and I very rarely felt pain even when I could literally see it because of how full it would get.

This is the important part: I keep getting this stabbing feeling and if almost feels like an ovarian cyst but worse. Then I use the bathroom and it's gone. I've never felt that pain before and I'm needing to go to the bathroom like 8-10 times a day. Is this maybe from the ring? Is it something to talk to my doctor about (I'm going to mention it, but I'm not going to make a whole appointment if it's nothing)?
