Recruiting traitors s1

Hi. I’ve only just watched season 1 Australia. So please no spoilers for other seasons.

I enjoyed the show a lot actually. The only thing that did bug me was the recruiting traitors. I don’t mind that Alex ended up winning but I feel bad that Craig seemed to have barely no chance of winning any money bc there was so many recruited traitors at the end. I feel like if they had no recruits, would Nigel have made it to the final 3. Maybe or maybe not. I guess the show wants there to be at least one traitor at final 3? But in which case advantages only the traitors.

The also told the group a faithful was recruited when Alex joined the traitors but nothing was said when Kate was recruited. So the players only thought one traitor was left not two after Nigel was voted out.
