Ozempic blindness lawsuit is real?

So I just found out that ozempic and other GLP-1 drugs can apparently cause permanent blindness and people are actually su͏ing over it?? Like I had no idea this was even a thing until recently.

The condition is called NAION. From what I heard, the doctors describe it as a "stroke inside your eye." You wake up one day and just can't see out of one eye. There's no pain. And apparently there's no treatment for it either.

What's tripping me out is that the current US label just says "changes in vision." Like that doesn't even come close to describing losing your eyesight permanently??

There are already thousands of laws͏uits being filed over this. Has anyone else heard about it or know more.
