Family car... Pay with cash or finance some?

50k total price. I was planning on putting 20k down and financing the rest at a 4.5% interest rate over 60 months. Paying 50k all at once just seems like a massive hit to our financials, but we COULD technically do it. I did the math and at 4.5% over 60 months would cost us an additional ~$3.5k in total over that term.
