Am I missing something?

Just went into the game after seeing that there had been an update, in particular that they had updated the Gathering robots so I went and changed their assignments to just gather ripe 'common crops' and turned off flowers and seasonal crops but my robots are still gathering flowers?! They went for my Moonflowers first and I thought maybe they were classed as crops from the Moonlit Forest but then they also gathered a load of my black roses 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️ Is this a bug or is it not working the way I think it should?
