I was rewatching the first gameplay overview when Coen enters Svratrau and Daniel tells us about the city. He mentions that Coen enters through Silberkreis, the “rich” district. He goes on to list the other boroughs. I’m not a linguistic, so I’m not sure of the spelling/origin; however, the substitles spells them out as Altenmarkt (Old Market?), Neustadt (New Town?), and The Middens (the slums?).

We know that Svratrau is home to traders, mercenaries, and miners from all over. It’s “staggeringly rich” and as an underground system of caves, tunnels, cellars, and ruins. (IMO, this underground world will add much needed verticality to the game)

So this got me thinking about the city dynamics ever since Brencis took over. How each of the boroughs generally react to Brencis’s rule. Some must be loyal be to the Vrakhiri, which could be problematic for Coen once his infamy rises. Also, with Brencis commissioning new coins, and the Vrakhiri indifference to money, it’ll be interesting to see how Brencis controls the markets and silver trade. Also…

Are there vampire elites in Silberkreis?
Will the boroughs relflect social classes?
How as Svratrau changed socially?
Is status rewarded based on fealty rather than production?

I hope RW gives us an intricate story that answers what the 2 years since V-Day has been like!

Can’t wait to find out!!!
