For those who moved across the country, how did you coordinate your car arrival with your move?

I'm planning a cross-country move and trying to figure out the logistics timeline.

If you've shipped your car instead of driving it, how did you coordinate the delivery date with moving into your new place? Did your vehicle arrive before you, after you, or around the same time?

Trying to avoid being without transportation for too long while also not having the car arrive before I have access to the new location.
