Buying my boyfriend his first watch, total beginner, need help!

Hello everyone,

​My boyfriend just got promoted to IT Head at his company, and syempre super proud ako sa kanya! To celebrate this huge milestone, I want to surprise him with his very first "real" adult watch but wala akong any idea kung ano ba dapat ang bibilhin ko for him. He currently doesn't wear any watches at all.

​Because he’s moving into a senior leadership/executive role, gusto ko sana 'yung medyo professional, pero not overly flashy.

​His Style: Usually casual (pants, t-shirts), but his new role will require more business-casual / smart-casual attire.

​Preferences: None yet, since he doesn't wear one! It needs to be comforrrrtable for someone who types a lot.

Budget: No clue, siguro 10-15k? Decent na ba yon hahahha

​Where should I even start? What brands or specific models should I look at for a first-time wearer stepping into a corporate leadership role?
