VR&E to Gi Bill

Some background: I started my bachelor's degree using my GI Bill while waiting to see if my VR&E application would be approved. Since January, I've been using VR&E to finish my bachelor's degree.

My concern is that I finish my bachelor's program only two days before my next program begins, and I plan to use my remaining GI Bill entitlement for that program. I know you can't use VR&E and the GI Bill at the same time, but my counselor has made the transition back to the GI Bill sound complicated, which has me a little worried given the short timeline.

Has anyone been through something similar? I requested a new COE, but I'm concerned I may not receive one since I'm currently using VR&E.
