General Market Trends for the ERay

Hey all, planning on getting my hands on an ERay sometime this year and was wondering if anyone has used car deal negotiation services before. I reached out to one that I thought was reputable on potentially working on getting an ERay, and I received this in the response:

New Corvettes barely discount at all. MSRP is effectively the floor on a desirable E-Ray, and even getting MSRP with no markup is a win on these.

The room simply isn't there on new Corvettes like it is on trucks or SUVs. Waiting until end of year can help with availability and trim markups, but it won't turn a Corvette into a deep-discount car.

My understanding is that new ERays are often sitting on lots with 10-15%+ off MSRP... I asked if he thought closer to 20 was possible (which I know is a stretch).
