Thought of something as I was going home from work .

What if the reason stiles aka Elias went by that is because in some universe aka the ome in 1985 could be a true family name the stiles of that era is his other grandson too ? Possibly dead now though , cause I know our loved or loathed one and the whole series was based on those movies .
